Charge of the Sarfaraz Brigade..!

Sri Lankan cricket team in its current form is a very tenacious and hard nut to crack.

No team can beat them by giving a target of even 400 runs to chase.

The only way to beat the current Sri Lankan team, is to starve them from scoring runs by bowling Yorkers after Yorkers after Yorkers by our paceman, wicket to wicket bowling by our spinners and an out of this world fielding display by our fielders.

In a nut shell, it means that we should take charge of the game, right from the word go, by an all out attacking plan while bowling, with placing even three slip fielders, as and when required.

Today, since it is a knockout match, we have to think out of the box and adopt the policy of offence is the best defence.

In this regard, we must be aggressive even in our team selection and batting order.

We must include and play Fahim Ashraf and open our innings with Fakhar Zaman and Sarfaraz Ahmad.

Our boys have the potential to not only beat the Sri Lankan team today, but they can beat any team in the semi-final and final matches. The only condition is that the planning of our team management and execution of our captain in the field, must be based on the belief that plans never fail, actually, we fail to plan.

The team management and players must be told that “You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win, and EXPECT to win”.

Finally, our boys under the dynamite leadership of Sarfraz Ahmad, should attack the opponent team, in every department of the game; that history should remember this match as charge of the Sarfaraz brigade, on 12th June, 2017.
