3. Sri Lanka. Proved correct. Sri Lanka Won.
4. South Africa. Proved incorrect NZ won.

I beg to differ with you on this.. I know if Pakistan could beat Australia.. India definitley can beat them at Ahmedabad’s Motera on thursday the 24th of March 2011..
The chances are India would be in finals though it depends if they could win against the mighty Pakistanis.. who have never won a game against India in world cup.. Afridi may like to reverse the situation though it is not going to be easy for either India or Paksitan.. may the team that plasy better cricket wins at Mohali..
I would have loved to see Pakistan in the finals but not at the cost of Inida and Pakistan would have to play extraordinary cricket against India if they have to create History in the world cup (beating India for the first time..) for the second time after having broken the AQustralian jinx..
Let me tell you I would not be unhappy if they do win.. chances are the winner of the crucial semi-final would go on to win the World cup.. and the game between India and Pakistan would be much more exciting, enticing and entertaining all at one time.. For me it would be the bigger game than the Finals..

With due regards to the pakistan’s sentiment I must hurriedly add here that I rate them as a better bowling unit than India but their batting is much below India and both teams are equal on fielding front.. it would be a great match.. I wish I could get to see it live on the ground more than the finals..

Yes india has very good batting side but their all batsmen are not performing well.So i am 100% agree about above rating and also praying for the same.
i think india …….. because of home ground advantage and strong batting combination……
