State Emblem of Pakistan – A Proposal for Change
Posted by Syed Nayyar Uddin on November 18, 2010 in State Emblem of Pakistan |
I would like to suggest that the State Emblem of Pakistan, which was approved by the central government in 1954, needs to be slightly modified, in line with the changed realities.
The shield in the center of the Emblem, with four partitions, is still showing two crops (Jute & Tea, related to the then East Pakistan) along with Cotton & Wheat.
As such, it is proposed that the images of jute & tea may be replaced with another two major crops of Pakistan i.e. Sugarcane & Rice , on the State Emblem of Pakistan.
Very interesting concept
Very good & intelligent Proposal ..!
Ms Sanaa Khalid & Naima, many thanks for your encouraging comments.
Thanks for some quality points there. I am kind of new to online , so I printed this off to put in my file, any better way to go about keeping track of it then printing?
My sister and I genuinely enjoyed reading material on this page, I was just eager to acknowledge if you trade featured posts? I am always attempting to find a person to make trades with but it’s simply an insight I would ask.
I’m interested to know if it’s okay to copy a paragraph of this publication to use for my presentation project.
@reverse phone book, kindly mention my link, while you copy anything from my site, http://www.snayyar.com. Thanks.
Nice insightful post. Thanks for sharing the information.
I quite agree about the need for change but I fear jute and tea might be replaced by a poppy flower and a suicide bomber or worse still by a kalashnikov and nuclear bomb. That was in lighter vein, you are right, it should be rice and sugar cane.
@Shoaib Mir, your wit is appreciated.
excellent idea
Good observation and recommendation!
Shah Sahib,
I think it is wise and natural thinking, but it should be communicated to Federal Home Ministry…for implementation. However, putting this issue on the facebook will draw the attention of the masses in Pakistan for a greater concensus.
++++true,it must
Good observation and recommendation
I agree with you. And very incisive observation.
